Bizjetjobs was advertising that Tropic Ocean Airways is hiring a few days ago.
Their official website however doesn’t say anything of the sort (most recent SIC job posting was +30 days ago), and neither does their Linkedin page (that’s usually second best source to verify if a job post is “real”), so I asked their Hiring Manager to make sure.
What she said:
They will be reviewing applications during the next month for the class of Q3 of 2025. They anticipate the next new hire pilot class placements in September/October.
Make sure to continue to update your flight hours via Airline Apps.
So yeah, if you have your seaplane rating, worth a shot?
Unless they changed it, the contract is 12 months for $30-40k. Here’s the research I did on the company a while back.
