With the hundreds of CFI currently on the market, I’m sure they’ll have more than enough applicants.
Now here’s the thing.
You’re about to see a lot of clickbaity headlines everywhere that “hiring is back.”
And yes, technically, it’s getting better.
But class dates are still backed up everywhere. Nobody’s leaving their current job just yet so, no need to hold your breath JUST yet.
AND, it’s not going to be REMOTELY as good as 2022-2023.
This is not to discourage you. Quite the opposite.
It’s to motivate you to go the extra mile in your job search BEFORE hiring picks up. Whatever that looks like for you.
On the higher time side (think around 1000 hours), a few positions are opening up as well. JSX, Aero Air, KingFisher Services…
Skyshare has partenered with Breeze to give us the Breeze Lift program to build hours and seniority. If you haven’t looked into cadet/pathway programs, and are set on the 121 world, you really should. That’s going to be the name of the game for the near future. Lots will take us low-time, and actually only WANT low-time pilots.
I’m still planning on a breakdown of those programs, will probably start with this new Breeze Lift thing.
It’s worth knowing that a lot of ‘em do like a CFI...
So yeah!
Talk soon :))
