The first quarter of 2026 is now over.
Across paid and free job boards, I found 30 jobs advertised online. I shared most of these with the members of the Pilot Job Hub, but I thought I’d share the archive with everyone too, now that Q1 is over.
What you can do with this information:
→ “save” the jobs you’re qualified for, start your research and your outreach process now, so you’re prepared when they hire again.
Here’s an example.
I’ve known since November that Revolution Flight would be hiring C206 survey guys at some point this year. So, I spent a bunch of time connecting with some of their pilots. Eventually, one of them offered to refer me when I’m ready to apply.
I didn’t yet back in February, because I wouldn’t have been available — that’s if I even got the call. Even an internal rec doesn’t guarantee I’ll get an interview given how competitive this job is.
But that's just my approach in a nutshell, and why I like collecting “historical” data.
It’s not as straightforward as just applying for jobs currently open, but it’s necessary. Can’t solely rely on job boards.
