Across paid and free job boards, I found 22 low-time jobs the past 3 months. I share most of them with the members of the Pilot Job Hub the same day I see them, but I do a report like today for everyone else each quarter.
What you should do with this historical data:
→ “save” the jobs you’re qualified for, start your research and your outreach process now, so you’re prepared when they hire again.
No, it’s not as straightforward as just applying for positions currently open, but it’s necessary. I do not recommend relying entirely on online job posts.
Q2 of 2026 is over, so it’s now officially hiring season!
I’ll be dedicating most of my attention towards the Pilot Job Hub this summer, sure, but also LinkedIn, and I wanted to briefly explain why.
Facebook is still the #1 social media for pilots, do join and stay up to date with the groups for sure. But LinkedIn is becoming more and more useful, with its ability to help you find pilots at a company you’re interested in, as more pilots are joining.
Because the real use-case for LinkedIn is not to apply for jobs posted there, but to connect with people and exchange information.
For ANY job you’re applying for, that’s the biggest bottleneck, not qualifications.
I know it’s kind of a weird platform, but I gave it a more serious try in June, and the results are promising as far as “networking” goes, so I’ll keep digging and highly encourage you to as well.
