Overview
Operate a single-engine aircraft (Cessna 182 or 172) at low altitude for pipeline patrol missions.
Work includes creating patrol reports, maintaining aircraft condition, coordinating with maintenance teams, and participating in company safety programs.
Schedule & Flight Hours
Monday–Friday (occasional weekends/holidays based on customer needs)
15–25 flight hours per week
Patrols usually completed in 3–4 days
Overnight hotel stays required
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: Negotiable, based on experience

Requirements
FAA Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating
First or Second Class Medical Certificate
U.S. Citizenship and valid driver’s license
Must live within 1 hour of assigned aircraft base (locals highly preferred)
Pre-employment background and drug testing required (with random checks)
Duties
Operate Cessna 182/172 with an observer
Create detailed patrol reports (daily or weekly)
Participate in safety meetings and company programs
Keep aircraft clean and mission-ready
Coordinate maintenance with company and third-party vendors
Use tablets, iPads, or smartphones during patrols for data entry
