I was talking to another pilot the other day, brief conversation to see if I had any new leads. I told her I saw on bizjetjobs that Surf Air is hiring Cessna Caravan First Officers, but we were not sure if it was a recycled ad or not because the job post on the actual website is over 30 days old.

I thought I wouldn’t send it to you until I was certain it was real, you know, to not be spammy as promised. I looked the company up on Linkedin to see if any of the managers were advertising the position (cool trick for the bigger companies by the way), quick facebook and google search too…

I couldn’t find anything that would confirm the reliability of the ad. So why am I sending this today?

Because although there’s a chance it may not be current, there’s also a slight chance it might be. Bizjetjobs has been far more reliable than climbto350 so far, so wouldn’t you say too that it’s worth a shot?

I know I would have applied if I had 500 hours. What’s there to lose anyway.

In any case, forgive my yapping.

Southern Airways Express is part of Surf Air Mobility, just like Mokulele Airlines. And just like Mokulele Airlines, the situation at Surf Air should be better than it is at SAE. Same hefty contract, but I’m talking culture and lifestyle.

Good luck!
